Let members sign up with a QR code: here is how

A new member fills in a paper form. You retype it. Two weeks later a phone number is missing and nobody remembers who has the form.

With a QR code it works differently: the member scans, fills in their details and is in your admin. Nobody has to enter that sign-up again.

Where do you put the code?

On the door, on a flyer, in the club chat or on your site. You download the QR code and a flyer from your account. The same sign-up page works as a link and as a code. On your own site you place it with a short snippet, so people do not have to open a separate tool.

What is right straight away

During sign-up the member picks a membership or card and pays online. Your list is right from day one, instead of a trial list that is migrated later. For an association it replaces the paper form. For a dance school or gym it replaces the desk retyping names.

What the member sees next

The pass, the balance and the plan live in the member area, and the pass and balance in the iPhone app too. The member does not have to message to ask how many classes are left, and you do not have to look it up.

Frequently asked questions

How do members sign up with a QR code?

You share a link or QR code. The member fills in details on their phone and then appears in your list. You do not retype that sign-up.

Does that work on your own site?

Yes. The same sign-up page can sit on your own site with a short snippet of code.

Does the member need to install an app to start?

No. Sign-up happens in the browser via the link or QR code. The pass and the balance live in the member area, and in the iPhone app too.
